As many of us know Northland roads can harbour all sorts of potential dangers for your tyres, such as potholes, gravel and corrugations. To help our customers protect their tyres beyond the manufacturer’s new tyre warranty, we’ve introduced the Tyrepower Road Hazard Warranty.

How does it work?

When you purchase new tyres from us, Tyrepower Road Hazard Warranty gives you extended coverage for free repair or replacement of your tyres, and a tyre care programme to keep your tyres at their best saving you money. You can relax knowing you have protection from hazards like potholes, nails and kerb damage to tyre sidewall. When things go wrong, Tyrepower Road Hazard Warranty will keep you going.

What does it cost?

It starts at just $10 per tyre, so is great value.

Which Tyrepower stores offer Road Hazard Warranty?

Road Hazard Warranty is a new service for our customers.  At present, participating stores include Whangarei, Kerikeri, East Tamaki (Auckland), and Te Aroha.  We’re sure that more Tyrepower stores will soon also be offering Road Hazard Warranty, but should you need assistance in an area outside the current participating stores, simply call Tyrepower Whangarei and we’ll do our very best to help you with local service.

What are the benefits?

TOTAL TYRE REPLACEMENT – Total replacement of your tyre at any participating Tyrepower store in the first of either 12 months or 12,000km (whichever comes first from date of purchase) if the tyre is not legally repairable. FREE TUBELESS PUNCTURE REPAIR – Free tubeless puncture repairs at any participating Tyrepower store for the first of either 12 months or 12,000km (whichever comes first from date of purchase) FREE TYRE SAFETY CHECKS – Free tyre safety checks at 5,000 km and 10,000 km to maximise the life and safety of your tyres. This programme covers tyre tread and pressure check, tyre rotation and alignment visual check. (Charges apply if alignment or rotate needs to be done) Conditions Only tyres sold and fitted by Tyrepower as recorded on your invoice are eligible for Road Hazard Cover. Tyrepower Road Hazard Cover does not cover damage caused by:

• vandalism, accidents involving another vehicle, fire, snow chain damage, motor racing or incorrect wheel alignment
• operating a tyre with insufficient air pressure (RUNFLAT) operating the vehicle off road
• tyres damaged as a result of a brake lock-up
• Total replacement is provided in the first of either 12 months or 12,000 km (whichever comes first from date of purchase) if the tyre is not legally repairable.

Our Guarantee

Beyond the manufacturer’s new tyre warranty, you will be protected with the guarantee of free repair or total replacement of your tyre in the first 12 months or 12,000km (whichever comes first from date of purchase) if the tyre is not legally repairable. IMPORTANT: Keep your policy booklet in a safe place, like your car’s glove box. To claim Tyrepower Road Hazard Cover, present this policy booklet and the invoice or any other proof of purchase at any participating Tyrepower store.
