New National Tyrewise Regulations Effective 1st March – A Tyre Stewardship Fee Will Apply To Manage End-Of-Life Tyres Disposal. See Details.
We have often been known to repair tyres that are too difficult or time consuming for other shops to do. We will not take short cuts and only use approved and top of the line products for the job.
Our repair process can change depending on the situation and puncture but generally we will find and mark the hole, remove the tyre from the rim, drill to required size, buff as required, apply a special volcanizing glue, repair with a quality mushroom patch, coat with liquid rubber, refit the tyre on the wheel, rebalance the tyre, and put it back on your car.
Unfortunately, not all tyres can be repaired, but we will give you honest advice on whether or not the tyre can or should be repaired.
If you think that you have a puncture or slow leak on your car, stop by and let our team of trained tyre technicians have a look at it. If we cannot repair it there is no charge.
Tyrepower is the largest independent tyre retailer in New Zealand and Australia with over 260 stores.
